What You’ll Be Doing
As part of the Project Management Office, the Project Manager plays a key role in delivering intelligent automation, MES/MOM, and data solutions across global environments. You engage closely with clients to understand their expectations, translate them into actionable project plans, and guide multidisciplinary teams towards successful execution on time, on budget, and at the highest quality.
Your responsibilities include:
Lead the full lifecycle of digital manufacturing and Industry 4.0 projects
Define project scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables with stakeholders
Serve as the primary client-facing project lead
Coordinate internal engineering teams and external vendors
Track progress, manage risks, and resolve issues proactively
Apply PMO methodologies, tools, and best practices
Capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous process improvement
You will be successful in this role if you:
Lead the full lifecycle of digital transformation projects, ensuring delivery within the agreed scope, budget, and timeframe
Maintain strong relationships with clients, project sponsors, and third parties, acting as their trusted advisor throughout the journey
Establish project scope, objectives, and deliverables, involving all relevant stakeholders
Build detailed project plans, track progress, and proactively manage deviations
Coordinate internal teams (System Engineers, Senior System Engineers, Architects, Experts) and external vendors to ensure aligned execution
Ensure resource planning and allocation in cooperation with BU Managers and Resource Managers
Identify risks early, escalate when needed, and define mitigation strategies to protect project outcomes
Uphold AG Solution’s quality standards by using PMO methodology, templates, tools, and best practices
Contribute to process improvements by documenting lessons learned, updating PMO guidelines, and sharing knowledge with the team

Required Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on project management experience, preferably in Digital manufacturing environments
Minimum of 4-year degree in Engineering, IT, or a related field or equivalent professional experience
Hands-on experience with all Knowledge areas in PMI's latest PMBOK
Strong understanding of and successful experience with Customer Value Delivery
English proficiency (speaking, reading, writing): C1 or higher
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
Preferred Qualifications
Spanish proficiency (speaking, reading, writing): B2 or higher
MES/MOM or Industry 4.0 experience
Experience working in global or multicultural project environments

Preferred location: Houston, TX
Hybrid work model when located near a company office
Dynamic travel requirements:
Time: 0-50% monthly
Destinations: 75% in North America, 25 elsewhere; locations can include company, customer, and event sites
Planning: Short notices may occur
Customer work sites will reside outside the United States and may not be governed by U.S. accessibility standards. This requires the applicant to meet these requirements:
Use of appropriate PPE
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Walk, stand, and climb for extended periods
Indoor/outdoor walking in varying weather and environmental conditions
Navigating industrial structures (stairs, platforms, uneven surfaces, etc.)
