As part of the supportive systems department, the engineers make a qualitative contribution to the project within their area of expertise by working independently. The aim is to help ensure that the delivery of a project is completed properly within the predetermined time and scope. By engaging with the client, you identify their expectations and needs. You help think about effective and efficient solutions for the client and translate these into a customized program.‍

Main responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain operational technology (OT) networks for enterprises around the world.
• Ensure network security and compliance with industry standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with IT and OT teams to integrate network solutions.
• Monitor network performance and optimize for efficiency.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Example: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in network engineering, preferably in an OT environment
• Technical Expertise: Experience with one or more of the following is a desire:
  • Switch configuration and topology design for CISCO, HP, Extreme, ...
  • Firewall and Network protection: Fortinet, Palo Alto, ...
  • Network and infra monitoring tools like Nozomi, Claroty, Zabbix, Microsoft Defender for IoT,...
  • Wifi deployment and implementation
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CISSP, CISA, CISM,...) are a plus.

Ideal profile:

• Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies.
• Experience with one or more of the following is a desire:
  • Switch configuration and topology design for CISCO, HP, Extreme, ...
  • Firewall and Network protection: Fortinet, Palo Alto, ...
  • Network and infra monitoring tools like Nozomi, Claroty, Zabbix, Microsoft Defender for IoT,...
  • Wifi deployment and implementation
• Experience with industrial control systems (ICS) and SCADA is an extra
• Proficiency with Industrial Security best practices and norms like 62443 / Purdue / ISO 27001 are a plus
• Being hands on to do network implementation, cabling and racking tasks when needed.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Curious and forward-thinking mindset, eager to explore and implement emerging technologies.
