As a MES/Historian Support Engineer within the Operational Team, you are the technical bridge between the shop floor and the enterprise. Your mission is to configure, develop, and support MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and Historian platforms, ensuring seamless data flow across the industrial stack.
You translate operational requirements into high-performance logic, utilizing a mix of C# backend development, scripting, and low-code/no-code workflow platforms. Your expertise ensures that critical production data moves reliably between ERP interfaces and control systems, maintaining the digital heartbeat of our manufacturing environment.

Ensure software architecture aligns with ISA-95 and Purdue Model standards for industrial automation.
Collaborate with automation engineers to integrate software with shop-floor hardware.
2. Operational Support & Incident Management
Aim: Minimize downtime through expert troubleshooting and ticketing excellence.
Provide advanced (Level 3) support for application-level issues using JIRA/Ticketing systems.
Identify root causes of software failures in production and implement permanent fixes.
Participate in on-call rotations to support critical 24/7 industrial operations.
3. Technical Innovation & Documentation
Aim: Standardize processes and reduce manual overhead.
Automate repetitive operational tasks using scripting (PowerShell, C#, Python, etc).
Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including API specs and database schemas.
Share knowledge through "lessons learned" sessions after resolving complex incidents.
PERFORMANCE CRITERIA
Education: Professional Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), or a related technical field.
Core Tech: Minimum two years of proven experience in C# development and strong SQL skills.
