AI Engineer
Key Responsibilities
Support data preparation and pre-processing for model development using real manufacturing data (time series, process data).
Assist in the development and validation of machine learning models, ensuring robust performance in industrial applications.
Contribute to the development of GenAI-based tools and solutions.
Collaborate with senior team members to ensure the integration of AI solutions into the business context.
Participate in model evaluation and optimization activities to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Continuously learn and stay updated on advancements in AI, machine learning, and generative AI technologies.
Communicate technical findings and results effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
A background in Data Science, AI Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
1-2 years of experience in machine learning and AI model development, or strong recent academic projects showcasing relevant skills.
Solid foundation in Python programming, including libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Experience with libraries/frameworks such as OpenAI Python SDK, Hugging Fac Transformers, LlamaIndex and/or LangChain/LangGraph. Pydantic-based structured output workflows is highly valued.
Familiarity with embeddings, RAG pipelines, vector databases, and LLM application deployment is a strong plus.
Knowledge and understanding of machine learning algorithms and frameworks, including GenAI (Generative AI) concepts.
Experience with data preparation and validation, particularly with time series or process data.
Ability to quickly learn new AI technologies and tools.

Good knowledge of Generative AI (GenAI) tools and technologies.
Ability to work with real-world data (manufacturing, time series, process data).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly.
Additional Considerations
Prior industrial experience is a plus but not required.
Dutch language skills are a strong advantage for local client opportunities.
