Business Development & Sales Manager
As a Business Development & Sales Manager, you will play a key role in expanding our presence in Germany. You are responsible for driving growth, building strategic relationships, and delivering high-value solutions to industrial clients.
You will not only sell services, you will position AG Solution as a trusted partner in digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
Own and manage the full sales cycle: from prospecting to closing
Identify and develop new business opportunities within target industries
Build and grow a strong pipeline of strategic opportunities
Position AG Solution’s value-driven solutions (not just resources)
Client Engagement & Value Selling
Develop a deep understanding of client challenges and business drivers
Engage at multiple levels (technical, operational, C-level)
Translate client needs into impactful, outcome-based proposals
Act as a trusted advisor for digital transformation initiatives
Collaboration & Market Development
Work closely with technical experts, pre-sales, and marketing teams
Collaborate across regions to leverage existing accounts and expertise
Represent AG Solution at industry events, conferences, and client meetings
Expand and maintain a strong professional network in Germany
Sales Excellence & Governance
Ensure accurate pipeline management and reporting in CRM (Dynamics 365)
Maintain high standards in forecasting, data quality, and follow-up
Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales strategies and approaches
Your Profile
Degree in Engineering or equivalent through experience
Proven track record in selling engineering or digital services
(e.g. automation, MES/MOM, industrial data, OT/IT solutions)Strong consultative and value-based selling skills
Ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, including C-level
Entrepreneurial mindset with a hunter mentality
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Structured, proactive, and results-driven
Languages:
Fluent in German and English (mandatory)
Additional European languages are a plus

Based in or near Cologne (Köln)
